This video describes how I apply dry needling for those patients who’ve got rounded shoulders then follow up with a great manual therapy technique to get great results for your patients every time.
Hi. Welcome to the Twitch Dry Needling video training series where I’ll show you a fantastic dry needling technique followed by a manual therapy technique to get great results for your patients every time
These Dry Needling Techniques should only be applied by trained therapists who have completed an accredited course.
Okay what do you do with those patients who’ve got rounded shoulders? You’ve worked on the back, the posterior side but pec minor is your go-to muscle round the front. Let’s have a look at that. Picking that up, going to get some nice results in this one. Just here, beautiful, okay nice.
Okay what do you do as a follow up manual therapy technique once you’ve needled pec minor? Well this is a really nice technique, using the ribs as an anchor point and the arm as a lever. Some really nice good stretching here, you obviously do this on both sides. Holding back like this and stretching that pec minor out, once you’ve needled the pec minor, for anyone with those rounded shoulders, kyphosis, neck pain, headaches.
Hope that helps.
