Hi. Welcome to the Twitch Dry Needling video training series where I’ll show you a fantastic dry needling technique followed by a manual therapy technique to get great results for your patients every time
These Dry Needling Techniques should only be applied by trained therapists who have completed an accredited course.
Okay, what do you do with those patients who’ve got shoulder pain, particularly in internal/external rotation restriction problems?
Well, Lat Dorsi, great muscle to needle. Let’s have a look at that. So, right here you’re going to get some nice trigger points on that mid axillary line, just posterior to that. And needling this in that hollow there it is, nice twitch there, good, okay.
Lying on your side now, facing away from me, let’s see how we do a follow up manual therapy technique to help you, once you’ve needled Lat Dorsi. Okay, perfect, over right.
So, just drop your arm there for me. Just holding back on the rib here and stretching that out nicely after you’ve done some needling to the Lat Dorsi. Great manual therapy technique.
Hope that helps.
