This video describes how I apply dry needling for those patients who’ve got lateral elbow pain then follow up with a great manual therapy technique to get great results for your patients every time.
Hi. Welcome to the Twitch Dry Needling video training series where I’ll show you a fantastic dry needling technique followed by a manual therapy technique to get great results for your patients every time
These Dry Needling Techniques should only be applied by trained therapists who have completed an accredited course.
Okay, what do you do with those patients who’ve got lateral elbow pain? You’ve needled brachioradialis, you’ve needled supinator, and you’ve needled also, the extensors of the wrist and fingers. Well add adductor pollicis to the mix, and you get some great results. Really easy muscle to find, and needle. Here it is. Perfect. Let’s have a look at that. And gets great results with L6 twitching. There we go. Beautiful.
Okay, what do you do as a follow up manual therapy technique to that needling? Well, articulation of the trapezium and first met articulation. Careful technique, as a follow up, for anyone with lateral elbow pain and, of course, wrist pain.
Hope that helps.
