This video describes how I treat pain over Lat Dorsi using Dry Needling & a complimentary Manual Therapy technique.
How to safely apply dry needling to the Lat Dorsi and follow up with a great manual therapy technique to get great results for your patients every time.
These Dry Needling Techniques should only be applied by trained therapists who have completed an accredited course.
Hi, welcome to the twitch dry needling video training series where I’ll show you a fantastic dry needling technique followed by a manual therapy technique to get great results for your patients every time.
Latissimus Dorsi, a really important muscle to know how to needle for anyone with anterior shoulder pain.
So this is one we can needle just like this. Really easy to needle, of course. Very important to know how to needle this muscle. All right, good, done that.
What else can we do is a manual therapy technique as a follow up. Latissimus Dorsi inserts into the Inter-tubercular groove and you can get some anterior shoulder pain with that. Also quite tight together with your pec minor and pec major for those who are sitting at desks all day.
This is a really nice manual therapy technique to open out the chest and relieve the tension in the Lat Dorsi.
Hope that helps.
