Sometimes, your brain is so overworked with stuff we all have to read; like patient notes, research articles, email inboxes and the like. I find that it’s really helpful from time to time to leave all that scientific professional reading behind, and give my brain a rest. Which is why this month’s book of the month was just a great find for me.
If you want to give your brain a rest and feel like being transported somewhere completely different, I recommend listening to this great book:
The Graveyard Book is a children’s fantasy novel by the English author Neil Gaiman, simultaneously published in Britain and America during 2008. It traces the story of the boy Nobody “Bod” Owens who is adopted and raised by the supernatural occupants of a graveyard after his family is brutally murdered.
The Graveyard Book is available as a hard copy and an Audible version. Personally, I love Audible. Probably because I’m always trying to save time, I love listening to books that don’t require complete concentration while I’m at the gym. Click the orange logo to find this book on Audible. Give it a try.
