A Nice Reminder About Infection Control from the CMBA

The guidelines are from the NHMRC’s Australian guidelines for the prevention and control of infection in healthcare (NHMRC Guidelines). The guidelines are related to Acupuncture therapists but it’s still relevant to Dry Needling Therapists. Here’s an excerpt from the guidelines about swabbing “Provided the skin is visibly clean, there is no need to swab it with an antiseptic before inserting needles“.
