Hi. Welcome to the Twitch Dry Needling video training series where I’ll show you a fantastic dry needling technique followed by a manual therapy technique to get great results for your patients every time
These Dry Needling Techniques should only be applied by trained therapists who have completed an accredited course.
Okay, now we’ve all treated those office workers who are hunched over the desk in a kyphotic position getting a neck pain and problems in here in the front of the chest where they’re rolled in and protracted like so. Levator scapulae is a muscle that I always like to treat for those patients. Also not just for this type of presentation, but also for neck pain and headaches as well. And really easy to access and gets you great results.
Lie on your back for me. To open out that chest. Great crossover technique in this position where the patient is in a supine position onto the shoulders and then opening out there with some breathing as well to help you on the out breath, then we take it into opening out the chest, helping with that CD junction and anyone with an office worker getting that neck pain and tension.
Hope that helps.
